Join us for a trip into the whimsical world of Jennifer Steck, from Denver, Colorado.  Jennifer’s work never fails to welcome you with bold colors and charming themes where an assortment of creative and colorful critters burst into life and take center stage – each one with a unique story and a personality all their own.

“I’m always surrounded by furry inspiration and can’t help but translate that joy on canvas.” – Jennifer Steck

Inspiration strikes at the oddest of times—in the hush of the night, amidst the rhythmic strokes of swimming laps, or in the sheer joy of playing with furry companions. For Jennifer, these moments are a treasure trove of possibilities – creativity has long been her companion, a sanctuary for exploration without constraints.

In a world seemingly divided, Jennifer aspires to weave threads of commonality through her art—moments that evoke smiles, laughter, or even a head-shaking pondering of her artistic intent. Beneath the surface, the unique characters in her creations aim to reveal the shared human experience that unites us all, one chuckle at a time.

It wasn’t until she transitioned from a decades long career in law enforcement that Jennifer found the time to delve deeper into her artistic passion. What started as the simple joy of playing with paint evolved into the journey which led her to become a working artist.

As Jennifer navigates the unpredictable dance of her creative process, her work becomes a conduit for shared laughter and connection. Through the strokes of her brush, the figures she paints are given life, and their expressions invite you to join in the merriment, giving space for common ground in the simple act of appreciating the lighter side of life.

Residing in Denver with her furry companions, Albus Dumbledog and Scarlett O’Hairy, Jennifer is also the founder of Artburst Studios, a leading virtual art show platform which in recent years has begun making waves in the art world by becoming known for featuring carefully curated, high quality art shows several times a year.

Jennifer’s latest collection – with a cast ranging from returning old favorites to newly crafted characters, will be unveiled with the opening of our next virtual art show “Stories We Tell”, coming February 22-24.  In the meantime, learn more about Jennifer at her official website:  JenniferSteck.com.
