About Me
Growing up, I was surrounded by creative parents who instilled in me a love for art and the drive to pursue my own passions. Parental influence helped shape me into the artist I am today, and I am grateful for the solid foundation they provided me.
I am a self-taught jewelry artist with very little formal training. I love to create unique pieces of jewelry that are wearable works of art. I incorporate textures, gemstones and enameling in my designs to add an extra dimension of beauty and interest to my pieces. When I started out three decades ago, I started with beading and Friendly plastic, then added Metal Clay to my repertoire. After many years of dabbling, I finally landed on my current path and I continue to develop new skills as a metalsmith.
I lovingly refer to my studio as “Creative Chaos”. My creative “voices” have me trying all different types of projects. I do have a general feeling to my work, and I’m always experimenting with new designs, learning new skills and I’m committed to creating unique wearable works of art…wherever my muse directs me.
