I examine change and connection in my art. I often notice that connection is directly related to change.

About Me

I create in watercolor batik on rice paper. Layers of hot wax and paint are applied to very fine rice paper. The painting is crumpled and gets yet another coat of paint. Then, the wax is all removed. The batik process is change. It is unpredictable, messy and fascinating!
