Amelia Furman doesn’t just paint—she tells stories. Through a unique blend of paper and paint, she weaves personal narratives with natural landscapes, creating artwork that invites deeper reflection. Every piece carries hidden collage elements, small surprises that add layers of meaning beyond what first meets the eye.

“Our lives create a layered, beautiful story filled with places, people, and experiences, both the good and the bad, both the seen and the unseen.”

For over 20 years, Amelia has worked in mixed media, exploring the connection between nature and memory. Her inspiration comes from the world around her—trees, skies, mountains, and fields—places that hold both personal and collective stories. She believes art isn’t just about what’s seen but also about what’s felt and remembered.

Her work spans a range of sizes, from small 6” x 6” pieces to large-scale creations stretching four feet or more. No matter the size, each piece captures a moment, a feeling, or a story waiting to be discovered.

For Amelia, painting isn’t just a profession; it’s a way of being. It’s where she feels most alive—immersed in nature, creating, and sharing the stories that connect us all.

Her latest collection of original pieces will be unveiled at our next virtual art show “Momentum“, which opens on February 20th at 10am MT. The show will close on February 22nd at 4pm MT. Be sure to create your free Collector Account early so you are prepared for the show open!
