Meet the incredible Caitlin Zeller, hailing from Denver Colorado!  Caitlin’s story as an artist is intertwined with her passions for metalsmithing, ceramics, and the delicate art of embroidery. Caitlin’s aesthetic style has evolved over the years, culminating in what is now a unique fusion of mediums.  Her pieces are incredibly detailed and full of imagination – each one inspired by and celebrating the intricate beauty of the natural world.

“My work is born of my imagination, and inspired by my memories and dreams.” 

Caitlin’s journey has taken her through some incredible adventures, from traversing the rugged terrain of the Appalachian Trail to immersing herself in the vibrant cultures of Australia and New Orleans. In 2018, Caitlin found herself drawn to the artistic enclave of Denver, Colorado, where she reignited her passion for metals and delved into the realm of fiber art. Through her work, she endeavors to shed light on pressing environmental issues, using recycled and found materials to craft sustainable art that resonates with a message of conservation and preservation.

Inspired by the awe-inspiring diversity of the natural world, Caitlin’s art is a reflection and reminder of the fragile beauty that surrounds us. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, with layers of yarn, thread, metal, beads, and found objects intricately woven together to form ethereal landscapes that evoke a sense of wonder and reverence. Her creations, many of which are reminiscent of coral reefs, are a blend of color and texture which Caitlin says echo the vivid imagery of her childhood dreams.

Caitlin’s pieces invite viewers to pause, linger, and delve deeper into the hidden details that lie beneath the surface.
