Her artwork is a collection of small marks and lines that come together to create lively, moving landscapes. Stephanie captures the fleeting beauty of nature, from vibrant sunsets to the darkening sky. She believes in telling the earth’s story by finding beautiful places and letting her hand decide the marks that best represent them. Her work is known for its small details, flowing lines, and bold colors.

Born and raised in Michigan, Stephanie spent summers at the lakeshore and her grandma’s cottage in the woods. She pursued her love of natural beauty through art, starting with classes at Kendall College of Art and Design and majoring in Painting at Western Michigan University. In 2009, the beauty of Colorado called her, and she moved to Colorado Springs, where she now resides.

When she’s not teaching, Stephanie enjoys hiking and exploring the mountains, drawing inspiration from her experiences with nature and wild animals. Each of her pieces reflects her deep connection to the natural world, bringing its patterns, movements, and mysteries to life on canvas.
