At 30x48 inches this large painting will fill up your wall. I painted this piece with acrylic paint then sketched a rough drawing of my composition. Going back and forth from paint to charcoal this piece came together after many layers. After finishing the painted composition I came back to hand sew the trees with recycled cotton thread. While working on this piece I was thinking about what a great life I have. I make a point of living with an optomistic outlook on life. If I get frustrated or mad I can talk myself into letting it go within an hour because life is too short to dwell on the negative.
For protection, All my work is bagged with a thin plastic bag. I place cardboard corners on each corner and a piece of cardborad spans the face of the piece. I then wrap the piece with plastic wrap and ship in a box with bubble wrap.
