My approach to creating a collection for “An Expected Twist” was to focus on the ‘unexpected’ combination and/or use of materials, with an added ‘twist’ of little moments of surprise in the details. For this piece, the surprise is the overlap seam on the band as opposed to the conventional hidden seam on fabricated rings as well as the unusual combination of a diamond with turquoise.
The ring band is 10mm wide and features my overlap signature. The turquoise is set with fine silver with a sterling back plate. The diamond is flush set in an 18kt gold ball. This is a size 7 ring and can be sized up to 7.5 but not sized down.
