One of the most marvelous things about making wearables is that they can be made from anything. Beading is what first introduced me into jewelry making – the gateway drug as I tell my students. I am thrilled to share with you my ‘first love’ of beading in the collection for Divine. Beads never left me but as the cost of precious metals continues to be high, I have tapped into my resourcefulness and my past to meet the challenge to continue making my work.
Most of the beads are handmade; some are from distant lands; all the pieces have a precious metal incorporated even if it is just the clasp. Enameling, in a small way, has made its debut in this collection from my experimenting with liquid enamel earlier this year. The rings in the collection were created to match the necklaces and bracelets. I hope you enjoy this joyful and colorful collection.
This bracelet is 8" long with a custom made sterling silver clasp. The silver disc beads were cut out of thick silver and the edge was textured with a hammer. The turquoise beads came from my collection - I still love and buy them! I believe the turquoise is Chinese.

I use USPS Priority Mail flat rate small box for the USA and Canada. For Canada, the value of the item will be based on the materials which will be much less than the retail price. You will be liable for any duties or taxes. I will mail to Trinidad and the UK, and anywhere, but need you to contact me about the best way to ship.
