Artist Notes:

"The Ending Was Yet Unwritten" is a introspective piece that portrays a woman, her expression heavy with emotion, set against a backdrop of faint traces of writing. Inspired by the words once shared by my mom — “Everything will be okay in the end, and if it’s not okay, it’s not the end” — this painting speaks to the struggle of being in a difficult chapter of life, when the future feels uncertain and the weight of the present is overwhelming. Yet beneath the sadness lies a quiet underpinning of hope. The faint snippets of text in the background are symbols of possibility, reminders that the story isn’t over. This is a work about resilience, about trusting that even in moments of despair, there are still chapters yet to come, and with them, the potential for healing, change, beauty and peace.
