when i started pondering what i wanted to create for the Weird show, i found myself drawn to the subject of the sea. where do we find some of the most bizarre and weirdly wonderful things? in the depths, as well as the shallows, of the ocean. my work became inspired by tentacles and tendrils and texture and so much more. inspired… by the sea.
here i am offering asymmetrical earrings reminiscent of octopus tentacles, reaching, twisting, grasping. three blue kyanites shine like tropical waters at midday, with kinetic bits that dangle and accents of little ‘shells’ of water cast droplets.
