when i started pondering what i wanted to create for the Weird show, i found myself drawn to the subject of the sea. where do we find some of the most bizarre and weirdly wonderful things? in the depths, as well as the shallows, of the ocean. my work became inspired by tentacles and tendrils and texture and so much more. inspired… by the sea.
on offer here: an organic ring with reclaimed silver band and a golden, glowing citrine that i am now calling Sea/Trine. the grasping prongs twist and twine onto the band, like an octopus clinging to a rock, poised to spring off into the depths and hidden mysteries of the ocean.
size : just shy of size 9, so we’ll say 8.75~9
(due to the nature of the ‘tentacles’, resizing is not available).
