Looking for a statement earring?
These bold mismatched resin earrings are what you need!
Handmade in resin they have a bright cerise pink edge. A contrasting reverse dots pattern is inlaid to the surface. They are then finished with a black oxidised chain looped along the bottom which has gorgeous movement when worn. The earrings have a very smooth, matt, tactile finish.
Very lightweight to wear! Unique dangle earrings.
resin parts 1.37inches wide x 1.1 inches x 0.23 inches deep
Longest chain drop is 2.36 inches, Biggest earring is 3.54 inches from top of resin to bottom of chain.
I’ve always loved experimenting with colour and creating patterns, so when I discovered resin at college I knew it was the perfect material for me to create my pieces.
From mixing the pigments to create custom colours, to drilling and sawing into the surface to form the patterns I can’t imagine working in a different material, it’s very versatile.
With this collection for Divine I’ve played around with the use of colour. These earrings are the simplest use of colour by adding the pop of cerise on the edge of the semi circle.
I’ve also incorporated my ‘changing stripes’ and ‘reverse dot’ KAZ techniques into a few of the pieces. These are techniques that I have experimented with across the years and allow a different way for me to create pattern within my work.
I hope this collection will spread a little bit of much needed joy and fun!
