This piece is part of a series called 'A Matter of Time', exploring the idea of surrendering to uncontrollable situations for the benifit of a heathly state of mind. Instead of dwelling on the grief or negative instances, find a away to make it right or help put it back together. The thread in my work symbolizes fixing what is broken. The trees in this piece are hand sewn with recycled cotton thread. It is painted with acrylic paint on canvas detaild with thread.
For protection all my work is bagged with a thin plastic bag. I place cardboard corners on each corner and a piece of cardborad spans the face of the piece. I then wrap the piece with plastic wrap and ship in a box with bubble wrap.
