Bold, colourful and fun!
These resin drop earrings are the perfect pop of colour and mismatch!
Each resin square is cast in resin with contrasting spots and stripes design inlaid into the surface.
The resin has a very smooth tactile finish and although the earrings are large thery are lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Resin squares approx: 0.98 inches x 0.98 x 0.19 inches
Length from top to bottom: 3.54 inches
I’ve always loved experimenting with colour and creating patterns, so when I discovered resin at college I knew it was the perfect material for me to create my pieces.
From mixing the pigments to create custom colours, to drilling and sawing into the surface to form the patterns I can’t imagine working in a different material, it’s very versatile.
With this collection for Divine I’ve played around with the use of colour. The clashing between the orange, lilac and cerise is very satisfying.
I’ve also incorporated my ‘changing stripes’ and ‘reverse dot’ KAZ techniques into a few of the pieces. These are techniques that I have experimented with across the years and allow a different way for me to create pattern within my work.
I hope this collection will spread a little bit of much needed joy and fun!
