Two hummingbirds facing each other in soft greens, pinks, and turquoise. They’re meeting in the air, but there’s space between them, like a breath held.

I kept thinking about how connection doesn’t always look like closeness. Sometimes it’s hovering. Sometimes it’s restraint. But it’s still presence, still attention.
