“It’s About Discovery!”

About Me

I work at creating my art on a daily basis. By getting into my studio each day, I am propelled into the process of making art no matter what the circumstance. I’m dedicated.

I’m an avid learner, seeking out new techniques for working with art materials, which I find inspiring. As a result, my work is often a “mixed media” event. As both a printmaker and a painter, I find excitement in combining such things as monotype, monoprint, silk screen, solar etching, collage, drawing, lino block, and wood block, in both acrylics, and oils. I use a variety of substrates including heavy rag papers, wood panels, and fine art canvases. Saturated color, high contrast in color and tone, and abstracted images, are my signature.
