“My art merges diverse mediums and techniques with the depth of encaustic, to create abstract compositions inspired by the natural and manmade world.”

About Me

I’m an intuitive mixed media artist, working in encaustic—a fusion of beeswax and pigment—along with other media and printmaking techniques. Through these mediums, I intertwine urban and rural elements, crafting evolving landscapes that stir contemplation on humanity’s connection with nature. My landscapes are abstract in nature, drawing inspiration from my passion for maps as I traverse the realms of reality and abstraction. As an intuitive artist, I create from a place of instinct and emotion, inviting viewers to embark on a journey through imagination, exploring the depths of the subconscious and the intricacies of emotion.

More About Me

What inspires you?

I find inspiration in the simple moments of urban life—the tranquility of city parks, the cracked sidewalks and historic flagstone that appear to be a site map and a small world of their own. Late night walks photographing shadows on whisper quiet urban streets inspires me and brings me a sense of tranquility.

What do you wish you could tell your younger artist self?

I wish I could tell you that it’s never too late to pursue your passion for art. Don’t let fear or doubt hold you back from exploring your creativity. Embrace the journey, take risks, and trust in your unique perspective. Allow yourself to make mistakes and learn from them, for they will only make you stronger. Believe in your ability to create meaningful and impactful art, regardless of when you start. Your age does not define your talent or potential. Keep creating, keep growing, and never underestimate the power of following your dreams
