For Rebecca, creating art is like pulling over to a scenic rest stop along a busy five-lane highway—it’s a chance to stretch, relax, and truly take in the world around her.

Rebecca’s artistic journey has been anything but straightforward. Despite always being creative, she didn’t identify as an artist until later in life. Her path to art wasn’t effortless, it was filled with trials and errors, but the challenge is what makes her work resonate. She admits to agonizing over decisions, wrestling with her paintings, and even ending up with paint in her hair. Yet, it’s all worth it when she finds that “sweet spot,” creating characters that feel both unique and familiar at the same time.
