Hi, I’m Natasha and I’m an Australian based Artist. My passion for painting was ignited when I moved to Colorado and immersed myself in the Denver artist community. I mostly paint with oils using the wet on wet method, often in one sitting, to produce a fresh, playful and contemporary style of art. I love capturing little moments of light by recreating atmospheric effects in large expressive florals, colour infused still life scenes, and loose painterly landscapes. I believe in painting as a practice, and try to create most days to keep my creative rhythm. So, if I can’t get to the studio for my oil paintings, I create smaller works on paper using watercolour, ink and gouache.

Fun Facts

Life: I live on a rural property with 50 mango trees, which was completely off the power grid for the last 10 years.
Travel: I lived in Colorado for 4 years but I’m based in Australia.
Work: I used to be a Corporate Executive Assistant.

More About Me

I try to focus on painting as a practice and not get attached to the outcome. The best work comes out of a repetitive rhythm.
