“I want the viewer to experience a sense of wonder and beauty of the materials I use as expressed through the creation of a new distinctive object.”
About Me
I am Colorado native who lived, worked and studied as a silversmith, goldsmith and jewelry designer in London, England for 14 years.
The jewelry and silverware I make is informed by a philosophy of ‘less is more.’ My work specifically expresses an emphasis of line, attention to edges, form, and texture whether working with one or multiple materials. Through the use of traditional and non-traditional methods, the qualities of each material are celebrated. I want the viewer to experience a sense of wonder at the elegant beauty of the materials as expressed through the creation of a new distinctive object.
I teach at the Art Students League of Denver and Metropolitan State University in Denver. I have been the president of the Colorado Metalsmithing Guild since 2020. My work is in several private collections, in the USA and Europe, and in the Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art in Denver, CO.
