"I hope to create art that makes you smile, laugh, or even walk away shaking your head wondering what I was thinking."
About Me
Ideas come at the strangest moments—in the middle of the night, while swimming laps, playing with my dogs, or even in the midst of creating something else. I love the endless possibilities that arise when I pull out a blank canvas and begin to paint.
Creativity has always had a place in my life, mostly as a way to explore without expectations. It wasn’t until I retired from a long career in law enforcement that I finally had the time to dive deeper into something I’ve always loved. As my joy of playing with paint began to take shape on canvas, new doors opened—and here I am, years later, a working artist.
In a world that often feels divided, I hope to create art that makes you smile, laugh, or even walk away shaking your head, wondering what I was thinking. Because really, we have more in common than we realize—and if laughter can connect us, it’s a pretty great place to start.
I love being an artist.

Fun Facts
- • Foster Mom - My two dogs and I recently fostered our tenth rescued golden retriever. It's a team effort.
- • Overstuffed - I'm always on the hunt for unusual objects to include in sculptures. My garage is full of them.
- • Art Studio - When I realized I only slept in my main bedroom, I moved my bed into the spare room so the larger space could be my art studio.
- • Bit - I met fellow British travelers on my first trip to Africa. They told me I'd be bit by the African bug and they were right. I've been back to the continent six times!
- • Used Furniture - Most of my furniture is from consignment shops. I still have beautiful pieces and saved a bundle to spend on travel.
