About Me
Life goes by quickly, but nature invites us to slow down. That’s why I paint landscapes—to express the wonder I feel for the world and my gratitude for each moment that I get to be a part of it. it. Through glowing light and vivid color, I invite you into quiet places where you can pause, take a deep breath, and savor the beauty around us. My work reflects a spiritual presence—a quiet reminder of something greater than ourselves.
Pastel is my primary medium and I love its immediacy, vibrant color, and ability to capture glowing light. I have been working with pastels for 30 years. Favorite places of inspiration include Maryland’s Eastern Shore, the New Jersey Shore, the Brandywine River Valley, Hudson Valley, New York, and Maine or anyplace that can be seen from my kayak or while hiking.
I raised three amazing humans, am nuts about my grandkids and maintain good relationships with all my nine siblings. My husband of 42 years is still my best friend. Family has always been a priority. I have a studio at Aston Mills Arts in Aston, PA where I paint and am open by appointment throughout the year.
