Color and texture flip my switch!
About Me
II like color. Sometimes just one simple clear color and sometimes a whole range of colors. On top of color I like texture and shape: the knobby feel of concretions left in sandstone, the silkiness of polished silver or gold, the shape of a curled-up leaf, the myriad shapes of pebbles on the beach. I fabricate my jewelry to highlight color, texture, and shape, and I like to add movement for a little more spark. I am self taught, but have taken workshops from artists that I love: David Huang, Michael Boyd, Valentine Yotkov, and Harold O'Connor.
