“I like to think of my paintings as
‘little moments of light’.”

About Me

I'm an Australian artist that enjoys creating vibrant and expressive works capture the striking beauty of everyday life and nature. My passion for painting was ignited during my time in Colorado, where I immersed myself in the dynamic Denver art community. This experience, along with my ongoing exploration of the outdoors, deeply influences my distinctive style. Specialising in oil painting, I create both still life and landscape works, often painting en plein air to capture the true colours of nature and the shifting play of light.
Working in the “Alla Prima” wet-on-wet technique, I push my colour palette,
blending directly on the canvas to create loose, dynamic brushstrokes that convey a sense of movement and energy. My approach aims to transform seemingly simple scenes into captivating and intimate vignettes infused with a sense of immediacy and beauty.
For the past eight years, I have lived my dream as a professional artist,
sharing my knowledge and passion for art through teaching workshops across
Australia. My work is held in private collections both nationally and
internationally, and I have earned recognition with multiple awards and regular shortlisting in prestigious national exhibitions such as Lethbridge 20000, The Darcy Doyles and Spirit of Australia.

What do you wish you could tell your younger artist self?

Learn to love the marks you make and don’t be overly critical of your own work. Perfection stifles creativity.
