Artburst Studios is now accepting applications for Divine, an exclusive online exhibition spotlighting exceptional art jewelry and metal works. This fast-paced, high-impact show will feature up to 24 selected artists and take place on our platform, built to connect original artwork with passionate collectors.

Show Curator- Kim Harrell

Kim Harrell is an award-winning silversmith and jewelry artist who makes distinctly textured and clean-lined jewelry and silver wares. She is recognized as an experienced curator, educator and community art builder in Colorado. Kim studied under several of Britain’s most venerated contemporary silversmiths at the London Metropolitan University, Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design, where she obtained her B. A. in Silversmithing, Jewelry and Allied Crafts. Originally from Denver, she currently resides in Aurora, Colorado, where she runs a busy studio and teaches at the Art Student’s League of Denver & Metropolitan State University in Denver. Kim is the current President of the Colorado Metalsmithing Association (CoMA).

Kim’s work can be found in several private and corporate collections in the USA and Europe, and at the Denver Art Museum’s Kirkland Institute of Fine & Decorative Art.

Meeting with Artburst Leadership

Applicants may be invited to an online meeting with a member of the Artburst Leadership Team. During this call, we will review the show process, timelines, and expectations as outlined in the Artist Agreement and address any artist questions.

If accepted, artists must sign the Artist Agreement before being officially added to the show roster.

  • Artwork Sample Images (Required): Applicants must submit high-quality images of previous works that accurately represent the medium and style of the pieces they intend to create for the show.
  • Application Fee (Required): A non-refundable application fee of $20 is required. Artburst Studios retains a 35% commission on all show sales.
  • Important Participation Requirements – upon acceptance, artists must:
    • Attend a minimum of one of three artist meetings. Artists are encouraged to attend every meeting, however recordings will be available if you are unable to attend. Artists must view the recording of any meeting they are unable to attend.
    • Meet deadlines.
    • Actively participate in show marketing efforts. Marketing is a joint effort and required for a successful show. 
    • Ship all sold pieces to buyers within 72 hours of the show’s conclusion.

Artist Eligibility

  • Open to jewelry and metal work artists worldwide who are already selling their work and/or exhibiting in galleries.
  • Work must be conceived and made by the artist
  • No mass produced or reproduction work will be considered

Artwork Eligibility

  • Accepted Mediums:
    • Jewelry in any media
    • Metal – functional or sculptural
  • Size & Shipping:
    • All artwork sizes are acceptable.
    • Pieces must be able to be safely shipped by the artist.
  • Creation Timing:
    • Sample pieces submitted for the application may include previously created or sold works from the last three years. These samples help assess the artist’s style and will not be included in the final show collection.
    • If accepted, artists must create new works specifically for the show. These pieces must:
      • Be previously unadvertised and unpromoted.
      • Be fully completed and ready for upload (including images, dimensions, and pricing details) at least one month before the show dates.
  • Originality & Rights:
    • All artwork must be original, created solely by the artist, and not produced under instructor supervision.
    • No copies, derivatives of copyrighted material, reproductions, or giclée prints will be accepted.
  • Availability & Pricing:
    • Accepted artists must provide 8-12 exclusive pieces available only through Artburst for the entire duration of the show.
    • Artists set their own pricing and shipping fees for their show pieces.

The $20 application fee is non-refundable. 

By applying, the artist is declaring their artwork is not a copy, derivative or based on the work of others or in any way an infringement of copyright.
