Artist Notes:
This wall clock incorporates my favorite material: petrified wood from Parker, Colorado. I am local to the area and love to go out and collect it myself! A vast majority of petrified wood from Parker is sycamore wood, which i the reasoning behind the choice to incorporate that as the face of the clock. With a clock being the subject of this art, there is a temporal connection between the modern and prehistoric woods.
