This ring incorporates my favorite material: petrified wood from Parker, Colorado. I am local to the area and love to go out and collect it myself! This particular piece is of what is called "shrink wood", a specific type of petrified wood that fractured, shrunk, and fragmented during the early stages of fossilization before being cemented back together by chalcedony.
The band has been textured with a hammer texture, and has soft polished edges.
