Artist Notes:
A yellow and red blossom opens fully toward the sun, expressing warmth, vitality, and the quiet power of becoming. Fine silver wires shape the flower and its leaves, while carefully layered enamel forms a sky of aqua and violet behind it. Soft impressions of surrounding blooms appear as pale washes of yellow and red in the distance, while small silver accents catch the light like morning dew suspended in the air.
The enamel panel is set in sterling silver with a small peek-through opening on the back, revealing a hidden enameled mandala—an intimate detail that echoes the sense of inner light and expanding energy.

Cloisonné is a technique in which fine silver or gold wires are applied to the metal surface to form small cells that are then filled with layers of enamel (ground glass). Each piece is fired repeatedly — often fifteen or more times — allowing color, depth, and surface to develop.
