'Nordic ring' features my signature texture and a new twist on my overlap concept. The Royston (probably) turquoise has golden colored matrix and measures 5/8" x 3/8"; it is set where the ring band overlaps onto itself. The open slit was created by fusing two odd shaped strips of fine silver together.
As with the work in UNLEASHED, the ring came from using up bits and pieces in the studio. The cool tone of the turquoise and the whiteness of the fine silver reminded me of the glaciers I have seen in Norway.
The ring cannot be adjusted for size except maybe to be made 1/2-1 size bigger. This is a one of kind piece.
