I remember receiving a piece of art, and the thrill of placing it in just the right spot so I could enjoy it every day.

Now, years later, that same piece is invisible. It’s still in the same spot I walk by every day, but I don’t SEE it. Something that once brought me so much joy has quietly faded into the background.

So I decided to take a treasure hunt through my own house.

What did I discover?

Most of the pieces in my collection still matter. They tell my stories. Mark my chapters. Spark joy. Some connect me to places I’ve been, to people I love, to moments that changed me. Others are tied to the artist—the friendship, the conversation, the creative spark. Some are simply beautiful, with colors so rich they make my mouth water. I loved revisiting all of them and remembering why I purchased each one.

Have you been there too? A piece you once adored becoming just… part of the background?

Maybe it’s time to walk around your house or office. Really look at the art that’s been living on your walls—or tucked away in a closet.

What pieces still speak to you? Why did you choose them? What stories do they hold? Who are the artists?

We’d love to hear about the rediscovered treasures in your life—the ones that have stood the test of time, even if they’ve gone a little quiet.

Maybe, just maybe, it’s time to shift things around. Give an old favorite a new home. Let it catch your eye—and your heart—all over again.

And if you’re ready to add something new, take a peek at the latest treasures now featured in the Artburst Boutique!

We’d love to hear your story.

  • What drew you to the piece when you first saw it?

  • What does it mean to you now?

  • And if you know, who’s the artist behind the work?

Let’s rediscover the art that surrounds us—and the memories that come back to life when we truly SEE it again.
