“Color in a picture is like enthusiasm in life.” – Vincent Van Gogh
About Me
A silver lining from the pandemic was an opportunity to dive into painting which I had only been able to dabble in up to that point in my life. Over the last 3 years, painting has filled my soul as I have developed into becoming a true emerging artist!
My Contemporary Impressionist art style is characterized by bold colorful strokes, often with unexpected color. I typically do not blend but instead layer relating colors in a specific way to create a blended, yet modern feel to the viewer. Many call this optical blending. My goal as an artist is to create work that not only looks beautiful, but also resonates with the observer, even with the most simplistic subject matter.
Much of my work includes famous musicians and athletes, but I also have a passion for painting florals and nature.
I live in beautiful Colorado. You’ll see my work in local installations, events and online shows.

More About Me
What do you wish you could tell your younger artist self?
To try and make more time for art or creativity. It has a therapeutic benefit that can help ease your mind in challenging times.
What one (art) item can you not do or go without?
Golden Acrylic Fluid paint.
What is your biggest fear?
Heights! I can’t imagine any fun or thrill in jumping out of an airplane but have a high level of respect for those who do. I used to be terrified of airplane flights but decided that the opportunity to travel and see the world is worth it.
