Art is a gift, a way of living, a way of being—it is a connection to something greater than ourselves.
About Me
Nothing stirs my creative heart like painting! It’s where I feel most alive and connected. Each medium, color, and brushstroke is an invitation to explore, express, and experiment—a chance to transform emotion into something tangible. Painting is my sanctuary, playground, and extraordinary teacher, constantly reminding me to trust the process and embrace the unexpected.
Before I became a painter, I was a potter. The moment I first touched clay, I fell in love. Ceramics was my initial artistic obsession, and though I no longer spend all my time throwing and sculpting, I treasure every opportunity to return to the wheel and shape ideas with my hands. I also have a deep love for poetry, making time to write whenever I can.
I’m a mother of two, an avid animal lover, and a lifelong seeker of inspiration. I find beauty in the imperfections of a handmade pot and the abundant wonder of the natural world. When I’m not creating, you can find me teaching, cooking, hiking, dancing, or trying to embrace the art of change. For me, creativity is as much about exploration as it is about expression.
I’m passionate about sharing my discoveries to inspire the artist within others. As an international workshop instructor and author of Unfurling, A Mixed Media Workshop, I’ve been honored to guide others on their creative journeys. My work has been featured in Somerset Studio, Cloth Paper Scissors, and Spirituality and Health Magazine.
